Bob Jones
Bob is the son of rock drumming legend Ralph Jones of Bill Haley & the Comets. Through his father, who in 1957 was voted in Down Beat Magazine as one of the Best Drummers in the country and fifty years later appeared in an article in Modern Drummer Magazine as one of the top rock n roll drummers of all time, played his first job at the age of fourteen. He has worked with many of the areas top Rock, Jazz, R & B and Big Bands through the years. Throughout his career he has got to meet and play with many famous people.
"Drumming is in the Jones blood," Bob states, "my son, Dennis, is an up and coming drummer in the area, my brother plays, all my cousins play and even my four grandsons want to be drummers. My drum idols besides my father are Louie Belson, Peter Erskin and David Garibal."
